Hospital Internship Program
What is the Hospital Internship?
In addition to rigorous course work, seniors will participate in an educational internship at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a community hospital. In their senior year, students will complete an eight week hospital rotation in a safe and supervised environment. Interns will shadow medical professionals, practice professionalism and build interpersonal skills.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is a 312 bed community hospital that provides inpatient medical care and surgical care, intensive care and obstetric and gynecological services. The hospital is designated as a Level II Perinatal Center. The Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, as well as a NYS designated Stroke Center. The hospital has a long standing educational relationship with Forest Hills High School and continues to prepare students for college and careers in the medical field.
