The Carl Sagan STEM program is a 4-year program that immerses students in various STEM pathways. First year students take STEM FUNDAMENTALS. This one year course focuses on essential principles of engineering and science research. STEM Fundamentals leads into one of four pathways.

• Applied Sciences Pathway

• Health Professions Pathway

• Engineering Pathway

 In addition to honors elective courses, all pathways require enrollment in Advanced Placement Science/Math Courses (college level) by senior year.  

A.P. courses include:

• A.P. Environmental Science 

• A.P. Chemistry 

• A.P. Physics

• A.P. Computer Science

• A.P. Biology

• AP Calculcus AB

• AP Calculus BC

• AP Statistics

 

Students in the STEM program must maintain honors level grades (88 or above) in all courses to maintain enrollment in the Carl Sagan STEM Program.
